End of Day 3 for cabinet construction, and the box is looking good! The whole picture is starting to come into focus... check out some pictures below:
On the patch-side of things, equal progress has been made. I've reworked the basic playback code to deal with video and audio separately, allowing for more in-depth manipulation of each signal. Out of this functionality, I was able to add the first of many audio/visual effects to the VMP: rate/pitch control! Using the standard Pitch Wheel on any MIDI keyboard, a user can now change the playback speed of the video and the pitch of the audio in each sample. This simple feature exponentially increases the variability of your sample set. Very cool.
By the end of the week, I'm hoping to have the entire box fully woodworked and wired up, along with a fully functional Lemur touchscreen interface.
One more thing: the show on November 19th has been moved to open on December 2nd. Note it.
